What We Do
Concrete the way YOU want it!
No matter how complex your concrete design may be, our experience and expertise mean we have the solution AllWays!
We specialise in decorative concrete placing – driveways, paths, patios, floors, outdoor service areas.
Exposed Aggregate
The top layer of concrete is treated during pouring – retarding the surface and allowing it to be removed the following day. This exposes the aggregate stone underneath, creating a distinctive stony texture.
Stamped Concrete
A base powder colour is thrown over the freshly-laid concrete, then trowelled in. A powder releaser (the secondary colour) is then thrown over. Using moulds, an imprinted stamped pattern creates a tiled or cobbled appearance.
Coloured Concrete
We’ll help you choose from a wide range of colours – Liquid or Powder. Click to find out more:
-
Liquid ColourMixed through concrete in the truck, then poured – creating a more natural, earthy colour and tone. *The surface character naturally varies or mottles, and is more prominent in darker colours. The mottling provides a deep, rich, natural appearance. Sealing further enhances the colour. (*We cannot guarantee even, variance-free colour across the concrete surface).
-
Powder ColourAchieved by throwing powder over the freshly-laid surface, then trowelling it in. This method tends to look less natural, as the finished surface will have a more uniform painted appearance.
Cut & Grout
Choose from a range of patterns and effects. Coloured concrete is cut with decorative cuts, usually 10mm wide. The cuts are grouted, creating a large paver or tiled effect. The concrete is then sealed.
Polished Concrete Floors
A special concrete mix with coloured stones is used. The top layer is ground down, exposing the stones underneath. Grinding continues until a smooth, polished surface is achieved.
Sealing & Resealing
Sealing helps protect concrete from spills and marks, and achieves an attractive, low-maintenance surface. Sealing is essential for stamped and coloured concrete. It’s optional but highly recommended for exposed aggregate. AllWays Concrete recommends resealing every 2-3 years. This maintains the colour and appearance and protects your concrete from impurities.
