Choose from a wide range of decorative concrete

Textured Concrete
One way to create texture is by using stamped concrete. While the poured concrete is still wet, we use a stamp such as a cobblestone pattern to add texture.
Decorative Cut Concrete
Patterns can be created in the concrete by making decorative cuts. These are not the same as expansion cuts that help minimise random cracking but are designed to create a stylish finish.
Coloured Concrete
Match your concrete with the colour scheme of your property. We can create different colours by mixing a coloured powder into the concrete mixture. Concrete dyes provide a more vibrant colour than stains.
Polished Concrete
You can achieve a high-gloss finish with concrete polishing. In this process, layers of concrete are ground down and honed with bonded abrasives until the surface shines.

What you need to know about decorative concrete

Yes. Usually we will come back for concrete sealing 7-10 days after pouring. The surface must be dry and the ground temperature must be above ten degrees. Unsealed concrete is porous and therefore more susceptible to permanent marks or stains. Avoid walking on the surface until the seal is applied and dried.

We cannot guarantee that there will be no cracks as it is a natural part of the drying process. We use standard techniques such as expansion cuts to help minimise any cracking. One way that we minimise unwanted cracking is through expansion cuts. We make expansion cuts a few days after pouring your concrete. These cuts provide a weak point where the concrete can expand and contract while relieving strain on the join. Ideally, cracking will occur in the cut rather than in random places. Expansion cuts are meant to minimise cracking without threatening the structural integrity of your concrete.

We cannot guarantee that the final look of your coloured concrete will be exactly the same as the sample but it will be very close. Different batches of concrete and weather conditions when the concrete is poured affect the final product.

Pavers are made from individual pieces of concrete which are than laid together and interlocked. Textured or stamped concrete is poured in one section and then stamped to give the appearance of separate pieces. Stamped concrete is usually easier and more cost-effective. However, if you would like to incorporate paving we do have paving contractors we can work with to create this for you.

You can help your concrete stay bright and appealing by cleaning it regularly with soapy water and a broom. You can also use a water blaster. Always clean up oil and petrol spills quickly. You can buy products at your local hardware store to treat difficult stains. Reseal your concrete every 2-3 years. Resealing helps preserve the colour, protects the glossy finish, and protects the surface from impurities.
